JAMMU: J and K Police Public School celebrated its investiture ceremony for the session 2015-2016 in the school auditorium here on Tuesday.
DIG Jammu Kathua range, Shakeel Ahmed Beig was the Chief Guest who was welcomed by the NCC cadets and the team of Guides and Scouts of the school.
Vice Principal, Anju Sharma extended warm welcome to the Chief Guest and all the dignitaries. The pledge was taken by all the Council members which was elected on democratic basis. Anshu and Kanika Sharma were elected as Head Boy and Head Girl of the School, Hardik, Sahil and Shaheen Sofia got the badges of Sports Captain, while Kumar Kamil and Sanjana Sharma were elected as House Captains of Gandhi House, Anmol Nagra and Mansi Sharma of Subash House, Jaskirat Singh and Pakiza of Nehru House, Gurpreet Singh and Harleen Kour as house Captains of Ambedkar House. Apart from this, School leaders and prefects also got badges and sachets.
The Chief Guest along with the Principal and Vice Principal did the honour of presenting the badges and sashes to the council members. Chief Guest congratulated all the selected Council Members and gave them message to work for the betterment of the institution.
Programme culminated with vote of thanks presented by Principal, Sanjeev Pradhan along with Parshotam Sharma DDP was also present.
