JAMMU: Jammu Asha Kiran Welfare Society (JAKWS), Janipur Colony, organised symposium on the life history and teachings of ‘Neta Subash Chander Bose’ in the premises of KK Public High School, Janipur Colony. Principal of the School, Ashwani Gupta presided over the function. Twelve students spoke in detail on the life history of Neta Ji. Pallvi of 6th, Tammana of 2nd and Vansh of 7th class got first, second and third positions in the competition and they were honoured with gold, silver and bronze medals respectively.
Other competitors were also provided consolation prizes by the Principal Ashwani Gupta in presence of teachers, society members and students.
Dr. J.P Gupta, Chairman highlighted the teachings of Netaji. Chairperson, Ashwani Gupta thanked the society management for organising such function in their schools and hoped that students shall follow the teachings of Netaji.
Ved Parkash Chibber, President of the society thanked the school management for cooperating with the society for holding various function in their school.
Kamal Netar General Secretary, Jaswant Manhas Vice President, Hari Chand Sharma Joint Secretary, Ram Saroop Sharma, Ramesh Gupta, Ramesh Lal, Subash Datta, Surinder Sharma and Vinod Arora were also present.
