JAMMU: Shiv Sena Bal Sahib Thackrey extended full support to Jammu Bandh on 27th May.
Talking to media persons here today, Rakesh Gupta State President Dimpy Kohli, G.I Singh and Vikrant Kapoor expressed their solidarity with other parties announced Jammu Bandh over the issue of AIIMS and Artificial lake.
They said that they will not tolerate any discrimination with Jammu region which is being done for the past six decades.
Establishment of AIIMS is the right of Jammu people.
Artificial lake at Jammu is a prestigious project for Jammuites and will be a centre of attention for tourists especially tourists of Mata Vaishno Devi and Shri Amarnath Ji, they said.
As the project is already approved by the Central Water Commission keeping in view all the technicalities and moreover, Rs 60 crore has already been spent on this project, they government should start construction work of artificial lake.
They also appealed to the Governor to follow the old traditions which were being adopted from centuries and permit party volunteers to perform first Poojan at the Holy Cave of Bhagwan Amarnath.
