Sethi disassociates with CC, says BJP ensures justice to Jammu
JAMMU: Senior Advocate and BJP leader Sunil Sethi on Saturday disassociated himself from the Coordination Committee on AIIMS announced by Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association President and said he is with the party and thinks the BJP is doing good to ensure justice to Jammu.
Also reacting to a story appearing in STATE TIMES “Ripples in BJP over AIIMS, Sunil Sethi, Hari Om revolt” , the BJP spokesperson said, “Bar President has constituted a team and I am disciplined member of BJP party and don’t believe in revolts
He told STATE TIMES that “Nobody’s consent was taken (for being taken as members of the CC) including mine.”
“I appreciate for being nominated as member of Coordination Committee but I respectfully decline to accept the same because of nominations of politicians and persons of unclean images. I have already made it known that issue should be dealt by Jammu Bar in apolitical manner rather than getting exploited in the hands of political forces with aims other than to fight for people, ” Sethi has written to Bar President.
Meanwhile, BAJ President Abhinav Sharma said, “Being the Bar President, it’s my prerogative to include name of any Bar member in the Coordination Committee. Now it depends upon them whether to remain associated with it or not.”
