JAMMU: National level Essay Writing Competition was organised by Devnagri Lipi Parishad, Delhi in Oct 2014.
Students and faculty members of JK Group of Colleges participated in the competition. Urmil Mehta, Hindi teacher of the college conducted the event. Mukesh Sharma and Manisha Kotha of BCA Part- II received the consolation prizes of Rs 100 each under junior category.
In senior category, students of B.Ed college namely Shikha Singh, Niyati Das, Sapna, Neetu Rawat, Suman Lalta, Bhawani and Varun Sharma received third prizes of Rs 300 each.
In the teachers category, Urmil Mehta, Neelam Mahajan and Yashu Jain received second prizes of Rs 500 each.
The management and Shashi Chaudhary, Principal of the college congratulated the staff and students and motivated the students for more participation in these competitions.
