BHADARWAH: District-level inter-zonal tournaments of different sports like Kabbadi, Kho-Kho, Volleyball and Wrestling was held at Govt HSS (Boys) Bhadarwah under the patronage of Directorate General Youth Service and Sports J and K.
In the tournament about 500 boys participated. The tournament was inaugurated by Additional SP Bhadarwah Amit Bhasin, who was the Chief Guest and Tehsildar Bhaderwah, Bashir-ul- Hassan was the Guest of Honour on the occasion. Prominent citizens of Bhadarwah were also present on the occasion. The tournament was declared open in presence of principal HSS Boys and other officers and officials of the sports Department.
The tournament concluded today in presence of large gathering of people who witnessed the whole tournament with final result declared at the Ground of HSS (Boys).
In the discipline of kho-kho under U/14 years of age Bhalla zone defeated Doda zone and under U/17 years of age Bhalla zone defeated Bhaderwah zone of age Bhagwah zone emerged as winner and Bhalla zone as runner up and under U/17 years of age Bhagwah zone was winner and Bhatyas zone was Runner-up- Gandoh zone defeated Bhatyas zone in Both the age groups in the discipline of volleyball and in wrestling Bhatyas zone was declared as winner.
