JAMMU: Abdul Majid and Yousaf Hussain, both sons of Jamal Din, resident of Sunjawan accompanied by other family members on Sunday held a protest against the alleged land grabber demanding action against the culprits.
They warned the concerned department to take action against the alleged land grabber, Mohammad Rashid, son of Imam Din, resident of Jallabad Sunjwan, otherwise they shall go on hunger striker or can go to the extreme step of suicide as their families only depend upon this land.
“Mohd Rashid is a PDP leader turned out to be land grabber, has been harassing and interfering in our ancestral land measuring 32 Kanals situated at village Sunjwan,” they said.
“We have already brought the matter into the notice of the government and concerned departments including police but no action has been taken so far since the date of dispute viz 13th February, 2015,” they alleged.
“We asked them to stop the land grabbing but Mohd Rashid Malik attacked and threatened their families,” they said.
