JAMMU: In today’s scenario when stress and tension are part of life, the students at GD Goenka Public School Jammu whiffed a breath of relief.
An hour long meditation camp was organised for the students of classes III-V wherein over 700 students took part in the camp.
Swami Ekarthananda, associated with Ramakrishna Mission, was the Resource Person who narrated the story of life of Swami Vivekananda and his love for meditation.
He instructed the students to sit erect in Meditation posture with their head, chest and neck in line and the place the back of right palm over the lift.
He urged the students to concentrate on breathing and visualise the Lord. He advised them not to let the mind astray. The students emulated the Swami ji and the serene environment invoked calmness among all present.
Swami also implored the students to start meditation as it would help to improve their memory and concentration.
The Principal of the School, Dr. R.P Singh was appreciated by Swami Ekarthanda to have conducted such an activity.
Vinny Arora, Co-ordinator expressed heartfelt gratitude for Swami Ekarthananda’s gracious presence.
