Yudhvir reiterates to develop heritage sites

JAMMU: Senior BJP leader Yudhvir Sethi kick-started development works in the famous Chintpurni Mata Mandir on the Circular Road, here on Tuesday by laying tiles, grills and upgrading drainage system and other related works which were initiated by the Jammu Municipal Corporation.
While taking a round of the area, Yudhvir inspected facilities in the nearby workers colony. He visited the school in the colony and directed for early completion of the school room.
Reiterating commitment to develop historic sites of Jammu city, senior BJP leader Yudhvir Sethi said that all efforts would be made to upgrade facilities of those old and famous sites, which are an integral part of heritage of the city. He said old city temples, famous Peer Baba, Peer Kho, traditional bazaars and Mubarak Mandi complex are famous sites of the city which need to be equipped with modern facilities.
He said that besides promoting new sites focus has to be given to upgrade infrastructure in the already famous locations in Jammu and its peripheral locations like Mansar, Surinsar, Patnitop, Reasi, etc.
Raju Verma, Naresh Abrol, Ashwani Gupta, Anil Masoom, Arun Sethi, Mohammad Ismail, Bittu Pardhan, Rahul Khajuria, Satish, Suraj Parkash, Ashok Gupta, Ashwani Gupta, Pankaj Verma, Pardeep Langeh and Parvesh were present on the occasion.
