BeingHuman
Dear Editor,
We are fortunate to live in an amazing Nation with unique symptoms of multi indulgence of opinions, verdicts and trials going on non stop .One has to go through Judicial trials followed by media trial and public trial. The 5 year imprisonment is more than enough as far as hit and run case is concerned .As per law it was a freak accident where a driver was drunk and driving recklessly which resulted in an unfortunate killing of a man.Law is concerned about the driver not about his celebrity status.Even common people like us are also involved in same accidents and the accused are not hanged as this is not intentional to kill people but a case of rash and negligent driving . We as commoners are also involved in cases of rash driving or violating traffic signals but when we start judging the celebrities and become very judgmental. Salman has a big heart and indulges in number of charities but we argue it as a public stunt .When we point figures on others , we as common people should also introspect our deeds. There were dozen common people non celebrities in the bus where a girl was harassed and thrown out .Everyone remained mute spectators and when it comes to judge celebrities we make decisions instantly. Salman has gone through the trial and has every right to defend himself. The mistake he has made ,he will be definitely punished as per law only not as per our celebrity bashing verdict.I have seen we as non celebrities commoners abuse kids who beg on roads .Are we human in our acts? We take pleasure if someone is in pain be it a poor or a celebrity.Sometimes we become insensitive and indulge in judgments..Let the law take its own course and we should respect the verdict but not keep on bashing a person who may be a nice human than us.After all Being Human is what it mattes the most.
