SAMBA: A deputation of Electric Department Employees Union of Division Vijaypur under the chairmanship of Union President Ashok Chara met the XEn Madan Lal and submitted a memorandum regarding their demands. The demands which were highlighted include recruitment of linemen including provision of the safety tools to them, declaration of quasy permanent who have completed three years service, solving of pending matters of in-situ promotion, deduction of CP funds for daily wagers, preparation of seniority list of Distt. Samba for all categories by adopting transparent policy, re-organisation of electricity awareness programmes in towns and villages, implementation of SRO 43 for daily wagers etc. Hans Raj Gen Secy, Davinder Singh, Kulwant Singh, Ravi Kumar, Ajay Sharma, Rakesh Gupta, Ravinder Singh, Nanak Chand (Samba), Jatinder Sharma, Rashpal Chand, Gurmeet Singh (Ramgarh), Ramesh Chander from Bari-Brahmanan, Sat Sharma, Ramesh, Hardev Singh were also present.
