NOWSHERA: Police and civil authorities during market checking on Friday Challaned 30 shopkeepers and realised fine of Rs 3,150 from them.
According to a report, a team of SHO Nowhsera, TSO and Sanitary Inspector conducted marketing checking at Nowshera main town. During the drive 30 shopkeepers were Challaned for selling commodities without rate list and other offences and Rs 3,150 were realised from them as fine. One illegal kiosk was also removed from the bazaar.
Locals of the area hailed action of the police and demanded that such drives should be the regular feature of the police/ civil authorities.
