JAMMU: Civil Engineering Department of North Polytechnic, Purkhoo Camp, on Friday organised industrial visit for the students of 4th semester to Water Treatment Plant at Sheetli, Nagrota and Sewerage Treatment Plant, Bhagwati Nagar.
The students accompanied with Sushma Kumari, Senior Lecturer and other faculty members were apprised about the working of both the plants and various operations used for the purification of water by N.N Raina at Water Treatment Plant and Mengi and Vikram Singh at Sewerage Plant.
A moral lecture and meditation techniques for stress relief were also conducted by experts of Braham Kumari, world’s spiritual university, Mt. Abu, Rajasthan which is affiliated to Department of Public Information of the United Nation for final year diploma students of all the departments of North Polytechnic.
Principal, K.R Sharma appreciated the efforts of faculty members and training and placement cell to conduct smoothly all these activities for over all development of students.
