HSS for exemption of toll for Amarnath yatra vehicles

JAMMU: Hindustan Shiv Sena (HSS) has urged Governor, N.N Vohra, who is also Chairman of Shri Amaranth Shrine Board, to fulfill the demanded submitted to him for the smooth and successful Shri Amaranth Yatra 2015.

Talking to media person,  General  Secretary HSS, G.I Singh said that as per Hindu traditions Yatra of Shri Amarnath will commence from Jyesth Purnima (2nd June) and culminates on Sawan Purnima (29th August).

He demanded that the old Hindu tradition must be maintained and HSS is ready to send volunteers to Shri Amarnath from 2nd June.

HSS appealed to the Governor and State Government to fulfill demands which are already submitted to Governor before the commencement of Yatra.

They demanded that safe and secured Yatra for all the pilgrims of Shri Amarnath, all the vehicles carrying Langar material and pilgrims should be exempted from Toll Tax at Lakhanpur Toil Post.

There should be subsidy in any sort of fuel like LPG, Coal or Wood being used for Langar, he said adding that there should be medical checkup and registration facilities at the base camp Yatri Niwas at Bhagwati Nagar.

He also demanded that in case of death of any Yatri during the Yatra, the Shrine Board of Shri Amarnath should manage to send the body to the deceased to his native place and all the expenses should be beard by the Shrine Board.

He further demanded that proper arrangements should be made for the Yatris at Railway Station so that they may reach to base camp.

Besides repairing bathrooms at Yatri Niwas, Singh also said that security should be provided to all Sewadar of Langars at Baltal and Phalgam.

HSS National President Dimpy Kohli, State President Vikrant Kapoor, Rajan Gupta, Vinay Gupta, Rohit Singh and Vikash Patal were also present.
