UDHAMPUR: Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Yasha Mudgal convened a meeting with all the officers of Revenue Department to review the progress of land acquisition cases Tehsil-wise at Conference hall, DC office, here today.
While speaking in the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner directed concerned Collectors to take up work of land acquisition cases on priority basis. She also directed all the collectors and assistant collectors to finalise a calendar for joint verification of the spots with the indenting department soon.
She stressed upon the collectors that Land Acquisition Act is time bound and should be strictly followed and no delay is accepted in any land acquisition case. She also instructed all the collectors to disburse the pending amount of land acquisition cases by holding camps at village level soon.
She instructed the ADC to pace up the land acquisition cases related to national highway on priority and also directed Tehsildar Udhampur to take up the land acquisition cases of Sangoor, Jakhani, fangai and Garnai area on priority.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Angrez Singh Rana, Joint Director Planning Rakesh Jamwal, ACR Rajeev Magotra, Deputy Director Planning Ashok Khajuria, SDM Ramnagar Dhirendra Sharma, SDM Basantgarh Kewal Krishan, ACD Dhananter Singh, AD CAPD, all Tehsildars, BDOs, Naib Tehsildars and senior officers of various departments were also present in the meeting.
