BHADARWAH: A house collapsed and several others got damaged on Wednesday due to sinking of protection wall along the road here.
According to a report, house of one Yasir Iqbal Khan collapsed at Kahi Mohalla in Bhadarwah Tehsil as the protection wall constructed by the BRO sank along with the road, resulting in damages to several houses along Bhadarwah-Bani-Basholi Road.
Khan alleged that they are left with no other option but to spend nights under temporary shed with his family including toddlers.
Khan further alleged that he has been running from pillar to post for relief but as of now nothing has been done either by Revenue Department or BRO.
He appealed to the concerned authorities that at least on humanitarian grounds, immediate relief be provided so that he can provide shelter to his family.
