REASI: The Zonal Level Inter-School Tournament of Mahore Zone for Under-14 and Under-17 boys and girls in the disciplines of kabaddi, kho-kho, wrestling and volleyball, organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports Reasi, commenced on Wednesday.
The tournament was inaugurated by SDM Mahore-Subash Chander Dogra. District Sports Officer Reasi-Dr S.S Chib, Principal HSS Mahore-J.K Raina, members of PRIs and a large number of locals were also present on the occasion.
Dr Chib informed that a total of 124 students drawn from seven government and private schools of the zone will participate in the tournament.
Meanwhile, in kabaddi under-14 boys, Peer Panchal High School trounced Middle School (MS) Mahore, while in kabaddi boys under-17 years, HSS Mahore drubbed Peer Panchal High School Mahore.
The under-14 boys kho-Kho title went to Peer Panchal High School Mahore, which drubbed Mountaineering Convent School Mahore in the title clash and the under-17 boys Kho Kho title went to HSS Mahore.
