JAMMU: Vidyapeeth Public Higher Secondary School, Mubarak Mandi, celebrated Mother’s Day by holding functions at the school where they honored their mothers for taking care of them, nurturing them, and providing them the loving environment where they have an opportunity to grow in a positive manner.
On the occasion, students of different classes presented various programmes highlighting the importance of mother. Principal, Satish Sharma was the chief guest on the occasion.
While highlighting the importance of a mother, he said, “The mother doesn’t take anything in return from her children for bringing them up. That is why the Paradise lies under her feet and serving mother is the key to the Heaven.”
He said celebration of the day gives them an opportunity to inculcate among the students the love for the mother.
