BHADARWAH: Malini Cricket Club (MCC) Bhadarwah won the opening match of T-20 Cricket Tournament, organized by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, under Delta Force in collaboration with Chenab Valley at Degree College Ground, Bhadarwah, here on Tuesday. MCC defeated Islamia Cricket Club Bhadarwah by two wickets. Batting first, Islamia Club was bundled out for 141 runs which in reply, Malini Cricket Club chased with the loss of eight wickets.
A total of 20 teams will be participating in the Championship which will conclude on 25th May. The matches are being played as per existing rules by league cum knockout basis.
Earlier, the tournament was declared open by Chief Guest, Dalip Singh Parihar, MLA Bhadarwah in presence of army officials.
Masood A Bhadarwah to meet Kakol XI Chinta in next match to be played on Wednesday.
