RAJOURI: Police on Tuesday arrest a drug peddler and recovered some intoxicants from his possession.
As per police spokesperson, a special anti drugs squad of Rajouri Police led by DySP OPs Iftkhar Ahmed Qureshi and under the supervision of SSP Dr. Haseeb Mughal laid a special Naka at Palma village and intercepted one person namely Mohammad Majid son of Mohammad Latief resident of Dhanore Loharan and recovered five rolls of Charas and 270 Spasmo Proxyvon capsules from his possession which were being smuggled towards the desired destination BGSB University.
A case under FIR No 226/2015 section 8/20/21/22 NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Rajouri. Further investigation is going on to unearth the modus operandi of the drug paddlers and their nexus with other local and non-local associates.
