JAMMU: Career Counseling Cell of Government College for Women (GCW) Gandhi Nagar organised a guest lecture on communication and presentation skills.
On the occasion, Dr. Kiran Bakshi Principal of the College was the Chief Guest while Shikha Chopra, an expert in Finance and Control was the Resource Person.
Dr. Anjali Bhat Director Women Study Centre welcomed the guests and spoke on the need of developing communication and presentation skills for being successful in corporate world.
Shikha Chopra laid stress on the confidence building measures. She stated that students need to exploit a latent potential which can help them to financially standup.
“It’s a one step ahead to their economic empowerment by initiating from being a small entrepreneur to a big tycoon,” she added.
Dr. Kiran Bakshi advised students that small beginning always ends up in big achievements. “This success Mantra should be adopted by all of them to open up new avenues by being successful mentors for others”, she stated.
