MENDHAR: Tightening the nose around the drivers indulging in overloading and endangering life of the passengers, police on Monday arrested one more Sumo driver here at Mendhar.
According to a report, SDPO Mendhar Surinder Choudhary during a Naka intercepted a Sumo (JK02AF-2687) and booked the driver for loading 18 passengers in it. The vehicle was on its way to Mendhar from Mankote.
The driver was identified as Tahir Anjum son of Mohd Anjum resident of Mankote. A case under FIR No 49/15 section 279/336 RPC was registered against him at Police Station Mendhar.
