JAMMU: Bharatiya Janata Party MLA from West Assembly Constituency Sat Sharma (CA) applauded the efforts of Mandal Vice-President Jaswinder Kour for registering more than 5,300 new members.

In a programme held at party headquarters on Friday, Sat Sharma received the membership forms from Jaswinder Kour in presence of State Spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan, Janipur Mandal President Praduman Singh, Talab Tillo Mandal President Ayodhya Gupta, party leaders Bansi Lal Bharti, Bharat Bhushan Sharma, Jagdev Singh, Yashpal Singh Sudan, Bippan Dubey and others.

Sat Sharma, while appreciating the work of Jaswinder Kour, said that the female activist of the party has set a record of registering such a large number of members by reaching out the people in different areas of Jammu West district. He said that more and more people are becoming members of BJP and it is due to people friendly principles and policies of the BJP and the acceptance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s slogan of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas.

Sharma said that BJP has now achieved the distinction of being the largest political party of the world leaving behind Communist Party of China by registering more than ten crore members across the country and the contribution of J&K state too has been splendid. He expressed hope that the other activists of the party will get inspiration from Jaswinder Kour to achieve the target set up for the State
