JAMMU: According to a statement issued by IGP, Traffic J and K, Jammu it has been reported that LPG cylinders which are meant for domestic purpose are being illegally utilised by some people in their personal vehicles, which is against the rules.
Moreover, such use of domestic LPG cylinders adds not only to shortage of LPG but is also hazardous from security/safety point of view.
The motorists are therefore appealed to cooperate in this regard and desist from use of LPG cylinders in their personal vehicles besides it also puts their own life and lives of others around to grave risk.
The violators, if any, will be dealt under rules and their vehicles will be impounded to serve as deterrence.
