JAMMU: The BSF School on Monday felicitated those talented students who have excelled in various sports and extra curricular activities thereby earning a name for the institution. These young students were honoured by the Principal of the School during special assembly.
While three students, Aditya Kumar, Ashita and Devyangi took part in all India essay writing event 2014, organised by Shri Ram Chandra Mission and United Nations Information Centre for India and Bhutan in the month of September, Aarushi Kotwal bagged third place in here category (9-12) in the first Dr. Sameer Singh FIDE Rating Chess Tournament held at Amritsar.
Aarushi also secured fourth position in the Senior State Chess Tournament in open category. Another young student, Aryaveer won gold medal in the Jammu District Boxing Championship held at MA Stadium. Girl students from BSF School also excel in the athletics meet held at the BSF Stadium.
