The Jammu Municipal authorities are requested to remove the garbage dump at Sector – 4, Lane No. 4 Sharika Vihar Lower Roop Nagar. It has become a routine for people of this area to dump garbage at this vacant plot. This dump has become a source of nuisance for the residents here. Cattle and stray dogs are seen foraging for food at this site. Besides, it emanates foul smell which has vitiated the atmosphere in and around the colony.
It is requested to the concerned authorities to get this dump removed at the earliest. Besides, the plot holder be directed to get the plot fenced.
