RAJOURI : A 19 years old youth was killed on Friday in grenade blast in Tehsil Darhal. According to an eye witness the youth identified as Manzoor Hussain (19) son of Shamas Din resident of village Thanamang, Tehsil Darhal while grazing his livestock suddenly found a ball type object and started playing with it. While doing so the object (which was actually a grenade) exploded and the youth died on the spot.
Immediately on receipt of information the team headed by SHO Darhal Irfan Wani reached the spot and took body of the youth into their custody. The police cordoned the spot and after a search operation, collected the available evidence from the spot. The body was then shifted to District Hospital Rajouri for postmortem.
The police have registered the case for investigation.
