SRINAGAR: Former Union Minister and President J and K Pradesh Congress Committee, Saif-ud-Din Soz expressed dismay on the fact that certain parochial and divisive forces had polarised the State and tried to cause strain to the harmony and pluralism in Jammu and Kashmir.
Soz was speaking in a meeting of Vice Presidents, General Secretaries and District Presidents of JKPCC held here on Friday to take stock of the current political situation obtaining in the State.
The members expressed satisfaction on the fact that the Party’s performance during the recent elections to the J and K Legislative Assembly was comparatively better and the Party’s vote bank in the Valley had grown satisfactorily.
Soz asked party workers to redouble the efforts to strengthen the Party further at the grass roots.
