KISHTWAR: Assistant Commissioner Revenue Kishtwar, Sudershan Salaria on Thursday convened a meeting of local cable operators and representatives of J and K Media Network Pvt. Ltd to chalk out an action plan for the implementation of Digital Addressable Cable TV System ( DAS ) in the district.
The meeting was attended by DIO Kishtwar, AD CAPD and EO Municipal Committee Kishtwar.
Salaria directed the cable operators to strictly implement the directions of Govt regarding DAS and start the digitisation of cable TV network in Kishtwar. They were also asked to frame a complete action plan and submit their progress reports on fortnightly basis. Various other issues which were discussed during the meeting include awareness and dissemination of information among the customers, mechanism of content monitoring and provision of grievance redressal.
However it was decided that specific awareness programmes regarding DAS will also be held.
