MISHRIWALLA: Department of Agriculture, Sub Div Marh, zone Mishriwalla under the supervision of SDAO Marh K.K Gupta organised farmers awareness camp on wheat and Barseem under seed village programme at village Takuchak and Chakmani in which a large number of farmers participated.
JAEO Kangrail Arun Jaral made farmers aware on improved agronomic practices, proper weedicides application, adoption of IPM techniques, trimming of bunds, stopping giving heavy dose of fertilisers and saving the crops from the incidence of yellow rust in wheat.
AEO Mishriwalla Mohan Singh made them aware on different Centre and State Sponsored Schemes of the department. Sarpanch Shamsher Singh of Panchayat Domana and Panch Ramesh Singh of Chak Mani also spoke and asked the farming community to come forward to take max benefits from departmental schemes.
Vote of thanks was presented by JAEO Domana Pranav Chadha and JAEO Shamachak Opender Koul. ReZ Vinod, Tilak Raj and Chowdhary were also present in the camp.
