JAMMU: All J and K School Education Officers’ Forum on Friday demanded implementation of SRO 481 to rationalise the working of State Education Department.
Forum on Friday held a meeting under its President Abdul Qayoom Wani to discuss the problems being faced by officers of School Education Department.
The speakers appealed to Wani that the issues of In-charge officers of School Education Department should be taken up with the government so that officers who have not been regularised till date can avail justice. Speakers said that the government should implement SRO 481 to address the issue of Incharge officers.
Wani assured that he will highlight the issue at the concerned platform for an early redressal.
Wani said that a state level convention of all education department officers will be convened shortly to discuss the issue in detail.
The meeting demanded that there should be Human Resource Management Sections in the Administrative Department of Directorate Office at Jammu and Srinagar and in all Chief Education Officers office on the pattern of PWD and other departments so that the seniority of all cadres is maintained.
Those who spoke in the meeting include Amaranth Thakur Provincial President Jammu, O.P Katoch Principal, Dilip Kumar Dhar ZEO, Surjit Singh Head Master, Vijay Sharma, Muzzafar Hussain Qureshi, Ratan Lal, D. Nath, Tara Mani, Mohammad Din, Satish Kumar, Ashvini Sharma and Sanjeev Kumar.
