KNIT Green Model shines National Taekwondo Championship

JAMMU: Tenth National Taekwondo Championship was held under Indo Oman Shotokan Karate – Do Association (IOSKDA) of India at Daman recently, in which six students of KNIT Green Model Academy Sangrampur, Jammu participated.
Shruti of Class 4th bagged two gold medals, Anirudh of Class 5th one gold and bronze medal and Harshdev of class 6th bagged one bronze medal.
A function was organised in honour of the students who brought laurels to the school in particular and State of Jammu and Kashmir in general in the school premises on Thursday.
The Chairman of the School, Prof. J. L Kotwal and the Director, Bimla Baloria appreciated the performance of the students and expressed the hope that the students will perform better in future competitions also.
The Chairman, the Director and the Principal of the school thanked Ravinder Singh, Bhanu Partap Singh and Ram Singh for organising the camp and providing opportunity to the students of rural area to show their talent. Cash prizes were given to the students on New Year occasion.
