New Delhi: Upping the ante for Robert Vadra, the Income Tax department has begun scrutiny of the Congress chief Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law’s controversial land deals and financial transactions.
According to a newspaper, Vadra’s Skylight Hospitality Pvt Ltd has been asked to provide ‘agreements to purchase and sale of immovable properties’ since 2005-06.

The newspaper quoted sources as saying that the IT department has served a notice to the “principal officer” of Skylight Hospitality. He has been summoned on Friday.

Notably, Skylight Hospitality is at the centre of a row over deals with realty giant DLF Universal Limited.

The department also issued a 22-point questionnaire to Skylight Hospitality on December 24, which sought the company’s response on various issues ranging from its association with Onkareshwar Properties Pvt Ltd to details of loans from DLF Universal Ltd and DLF Retail Developers Ltd.
