JAMMU: The first phase of five days subject specific teachers/masters training under Rashtriya Madhamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) concluded here on Tuesday. The training was organised by District Institute of Education and Trainings Jammu (DIET). The subjects covered in the training programme included Hindi, Urdu, History, Geography, Civics and Economics.
The training was carried out in GGHSS Bakshi Nagar and GHS Gandhi Nagar. Vimla Devi HOD, Satya Devi HOD and Darshana Devi HOD were the coordinators under whose able management around 253 teachers and masters were trained.
Joint Director Trainings/Principal SIE Jammu, H.R Pakhroo also visited the venues. He motivated the participants to take maximum benefit out of this training, so that new skills are developed and teaching learning process becomes effortless.
Principal DIET Jammu, Mohinder Singh was the motivating force behind the training programme. He supervised the training programme and also interacted with the participants. He stressed on the importance of training to enhance the quality and competence of the teachers.
