JAMMU: Air Force School Jammu celebrated Annual Sports Day with great pomp and show in the Air Force Station Polo Ground, here on Monday. Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Shantmanu was the Chief Guest while Patron and Chairman of AFS, Air Commodore Ashutosh Lal, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Jammu was Guest of Honour.
The dignitary and officers were received by Wing Commander Baljit Singh, Officer-in-Charge, AFS Jammu and Vikesh Sandhal, Principal of the School.
Vikesh Sandhal read out annual report of the school highlighting the achievements in sports activities held during the session and expressed his gratitude to parents for their co-operation.
Apart from field and track events, spectators were captivated by the cultural items presented by students.
Bhartiyam by students and saga of the patriotic item won the heart of audience.
Chief Guest appreciated the enthusiasm, zeal and efforts of the students. He was all praise for the efforts put in by the students and the teachers for the Sports Day preparations.
Air Commodore Ashutosh Lal presented a souvenir to the Chief Guest.
