JAMMU: National College of Education (NCE), Purkhoo Camp organised an essay writing competition on the topic ‘Save the girl child’ in the college on Thursday.
Principal, Neena Sharma said that the birth of a daughter in the house was compared with the advent of the Goddess Laxmi, Sarswati and Sita and advised students to play their role in greeting awareness among the people.
