JAMMU: House Corporation Co-operative Public School, Tawi Vihar, Sidhra in collaboration with Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) organised an annual prize distribution ceremony in the school premises on Wednesday.
The function was presided over by B.S Thakur, Development Officer and Senior Business Associate LIC and S.N Sharma Senior Branch Manager, LIC.
The Chief Guest on the occasion was Chairman J and K Co-operative Housing Corporation Jammu, V.K Magoo and the Guest of Honour was Managing Director, Bharat Bushan Sharma.
Thakur and S.N Sharma lauded the role of the school in imparting advanced education to the students and providing all necessary infrastructure in the school for facilitating the students of better educational facilities.
Prizes were given to ten meritorious students of the school by LIC.
The Chief Guest awarded the teachers of the institution namely Neelam Devi, Aditi Sharma and Shaveta Sharma for their devotion to their duties and their hard work.
Principal of the Institution, Vandana Gupta presented vote of thanks.
