DODA: The Department of Environmental Science, Government Degree College Doda, on Wednesday organised an Environmental Study Tour for BSc students of the college.
The tour was managed by Head of Department (HoD) Environmental Science, Dr Mudassir Rather. During the tour, the students visited Fish Pond (Gatha) area of Bhadarwah where they observed the diversity of the environment of the area besides study various species of flora and fauna.
Around 52 female students of BSc Part II of GDC Doda took part in this tour to know about the various aspects of environment.
Dr Mudassir Rather and Lecturer English Rafaqat Raja who accompanied the students during the tour, briefed the students in detail about diversity in plants, insects, birds as well as the environment.
