Mula Ram seeks vote for development of Raipur Domana

JAMMU: Former Minister and Congress candidate from Raipur-Domana Constituency, Mula Ram on Tuesday under took extensive door to door campaign besides addressing election meetings at Purkhoo, Muthi and Kangar areas of Bhalwal Block.
While speaking in these meetings, Mula Ram said that Raipur Domana Constituency is lacking behind because of misrepresentation by the BJP during the past 6 years. “There is resentment among the people as they are facing problems due to dilapidated roads, erratic electricity supply, poor education and medicare facilities”, he said adding that BJP is responsible for the suffering of people. He said that he had launched major projects for the improvement of civic facilities as well as making Mishriwala a tourism spot by constructing an artificial lake but unfortunately the work on all the developmental projects and schemes was abandoned only because these schemes were started by him. He promised that impetus will be given to all such developmental programmes if voted to power.
He said that it is hoped that this time the people of Raipur Domana will not fall prey to false propaganda and hollow slogans of BJP and give their mandate in favour of Congress party which has always maintained principle of secularism and ensure equitable development of all parts of the State.
Hari Singh Chib Organising Secretary PCC who also accompanied Mula Ram in the campaign said that Congress party is committed for strengthening the bonds of brotherhood, unity and integrity of the State and the Nation. He also cautioned the people against the divisive politics of BJP and PDP and others for their political interest. He appealed to people to cast their valuable votes in favour of Mula Ram Congress candidate for the speedy development of the Raipur-Domana Constituency.
Prominent among others who spoke in these meetings included Tallanter Singh, Ghulam Rasool, Ghulam Aijaz, Swarn Singh, Balwan Singh, Pabitar Singh, Amar Nath Sarpanch, Ch. Ghulam, Bhupinder Singh, Raj Dev Singh, Kuldeep Kumar, Bodh Raj, Nek Alam, Ashok Kumar, Rashpal Kataria, Pawan Singh, Sardar Singh, Jaswant Singh, Ram Pal Sharma and Vijay Kumar Sharma.
