Judo team leaves for Nationals

JAMMU: The State Judo team on Tuesday left for participation in the Senior National Championship, to be held at Haridwar, under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir Judo Association.
The team included seven women and six male judokas in different weight categories. Two coaches, one manager and one technical official are also accompanying the team, a handout issued here today informed.
Earlier, the selected probable underwent a screening test conducted by the State Sports Council at Shastri Nagar play field, here.
The Team:
Men: Aman Gupta, Vishal Singh, Farhat Gulzar, Danish Sharma, Ranjodh Singh and Satyajeet Singh. Women: Yashika Jamwal, Shivali Manhas, Nippu Janwal, Shweta Thakur, Yasmeer Nazir, Sadaf Iqbal Khan and Sara Khan. Coaches: Vikas Dogra and Ritika Slathia. Vikas Gupta (manager) and Suraj Bhan Singh (technical official).
