VIJAYPUR : A woman constable of 37 IRP identified as Sareshta Kumari (37) widow of Kuldip Singh resident of Bishnah was killed on Tuesday when her scooter was hit by an over speeding Tata Mobile.
The woman constable was on her way from Vijaypur to Bishnah on her Scooter bearing registration No JK02BG-3213 when she was hit by a Tata Mobile bearing registration No JK02AA-6421 at Raya Morh from behind.
The woman constable in injured condition was shifted to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu where she succumbed to injuries. The Vijaypur Police have registered the case FIR 113/14 under section 379, 304A RPC and arrested driver of the Tata Mobile identified as Joyti Sharma son of Jagdish Raj Sharma resident of Bari Brahmna
