REASI: Reasi Nightingales to meet Poonch Eves in the kho-kho final of the ongoing Pir Panjal Knights Premier League (PPKPL), organised by army at Zorawar Singh Stadium, here.
Earlier, in the second semifinal played on Tuesday, Reasi Nightingales defeated Akhnoor Arrows by scoring 11 points. Koefeeka Kafi was adjudged the best player of the day for her performances.
In cricket match, Reasi Royals achieved victory over Youth Cricket Club and won the match by three wickets.
Shivam Gupta of Reasi Royals smashed quick 53 runs to set a target of 139 runs in the allotted 20 overs. The team from Youth Cricket Club played very well but could score only 138 runs on the loss if five wickets. Shivam Gupta was adjudged as Man of the Match for his outstanding batting.
The Pir Panjal Knight Premier League is providing great entertainment to spectators and at the time boosting the morale of the players, said defence spokesperson Lt Col Manish Mehta.
