JAMMU: To select the probables for the participation of 35th National Games-Kerala to be held from 31st January 2015 and 49th Cross Country Championship to be held at Jhansi (UP) on 18th January 2015, J and K Amateur Athletic Association to hold Jammu and Kashmir State Athletic Championship from 22nd to 25th December 2014 at BSF Athletic Track Paloura.
Championship will be held from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM and from 2:30 to 4:30 PM and selection will be strictly on merit as per qualifying mark fixed by Athletic Federation of India, Hony General Secretary, S Ravinder Singh in a handout issued on Saturday said.
He asked the interested athletes to report to S.S Gill and Sharat Chander Singh, Senior Athletic coaches along with entry fee of Rs 50.
No Athlete can take part in more than two events, excluding Relay’s, he informed and said that entries must be submitted on or before 20th of December 2014.
The participants who will take part in Sub-Junior, Junior categories will bring along with them date of birth certificates, he said adding that the selected athletes will go under intensive training and coaching for one month during the coaching camp.
