KISHTWAR: The National Student’s Union of India ( NSUI) held a protest rally at Kishtwar from Government Polytechnic College Kishtwar to District Development Commissioner office led by Prakash Singh Dadwal District President NSUI unit Kishtwar along with scores of NSUI activists.
The students raised slogans against the Technical Board Authorities for unfair marking of answer scripts for targeting especially Kishtwar Polytechnic students.
They lamented that team of JKSBOTE which establishes itself at Kishtwar during examination shifted one semester for some of the enrolled students to the next semester on a illogical reason of mass copying.
“Unfortunately they made false cases and baseless allegations against the students while they found impression on roll number slips. If any student found with impression roll no slips, student should be made to reappear in a particular subject but the authorities have cancelled their whole paper, which is totally injustice and illegal”, they added.
They also demanded that the reevaluation fees should be exempted for the same session as the board is itself responsible for making false result.
Dadwal lambasted the board as it failed to provide desk for sitting in college and for its apathetic attitude towards the students and exhorted the board to publish the fresh date sheet at the earliest without cancelling the papers which have been taken already by the students. He further added that the students shall also protest again in the DDC premises and shall intensify their stir indefinitely if demands are not met.
