JAMMU: In continuation with the diabetes detection campaign drive, Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Region Jammu organised free diabetes detection camp at Fountain Area of Jammu University Campus here.
More than 100 persons especially morning walkers were examined by Red Cross team headed by Dr. Rakesh Kakkar, Sr. Diabetologist, Dr. Kavita Nijhon, Medical Officer, Surinder Vermani, Superintendent Laboratory Technician, Monika Sharma, Senior Laboratory Technician and Sanjay Dhar, Senior Laboratory Technician. The aim of this campaign is to make more and more people aware about this disease and its remedies.
R.C Puri, Honourary Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Region Jammu supervised the event.
