UDHAMPUR: An alumni meet was organised at KV No.1, Udhampur on Friday in the school premises, which was witnessed by a number of former students.
Principal of the school, Dr. R. Prasad was the Chief Guest who inaugurated the meet by lighting ceremonial lamp in the presence of all the alumni members followed by a welcome song.
Preeti Khajuria introduced herself and all other alumni of the school, who are at present at different helm of height in different capacity and gave credit to the extra-ordinary efforts made by the teachers.
They even shared the golden moments spent in the school.
Students of the primary section presented a cultural programme. An interactive session was also held among the alumni members and the students of class X and XII.
Dr. Prasad appreciated and thanked all the alumni members and showed his firm faith that our children will get nurtured by the blessings and guidance in the coming years as well.
The whole programme was well coordinated by Raman Kumar (Librarian). The meet was well managed and anchored by Sanjay Purohit (PGT-Hindi). Vote of thanks was presented by Sanjay Kohli (TGT-Hindi and alumni member).
