R S PURA: Punjab National Bank organised a mega awareness camp at village Khuttian near R.S Pura which was chaired by G.S Gandhoke Field General Manager heading PNB in the entire HP and J and K State.
The camp was attended by over 300 farmers inhabiting village Khuttian and the surrounding villages including the Sarpanchs and Panchayat members. The farmers were apprised of the benefits of the PMJDY accounts and during the course of the proceedings, certain misgivings regarding the overdraft facility of Rs.5,000, accidental insurance of Rs.1lakh and life insurance of Rs.30,000 were also addressed.
The response of the participants was very proactive in view of their very visible keen interest in getting to know the fine details of the scheme.
Gandhoke FGM had a very interactive session with the farmers and also told them that the Financial Inclusion would only be complete after they avail the credit facility from our bank.
Later Gandhoke attended the centenary celebrations of Branch Office Shalamar Road Jammu which was opened the same day in 1914 being the second branch opened in J and K State after the branch office Amira Kadal Srinagar opened in 1905.
The occasions were also graced by M.L Mir DGM Circle Head J and K Circle, B.M Fazili AGM Circle Office J and K, Sunil Khosa Chief Manager Circle Office J and K and S.S Chib District Coordinator Jammu.
