JAMMU: Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) Nagrota on Wednesday held Annual Sports Day with great enthusiasm.
Chief Guest, Brig G.S Talwar and other VMC members were welcomed by the Principal, R.K Shukla and other staff members.
The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest.
Amreik Singh TGT (P and HE) read out the Annual Sports report highlighting the achievements of the students in various regional and national sports events. Tiny tots of Primary Wing thrilled the audiences by performing excellent in various sports events like Frog Race, Socks and Shoe Race, Skipping Race etc.
The Chief Guest awarded medals and certificates to the winners of various sports activities. Out of the four Houses, Raman House was declared the best of all.
Vote of thanks was presented by J.S Malhotra PGT (Commerce). The function was coordinated by Shyamla Khajuria TGT (Science) , Anjali Koul Hak (PRT) and Ram Vilas Ram PGT (Hindi).
