JAMMU: RoboGenius Workshop being organised at JK Montessorie Senior Secondary School, Talab Tillo, here on Wednesday.
It is organised by Techtronics Education, Gurgaon working for promoting 21st century skills and STEM education in India. Techtronics Education organizes International events like Jr.FLL (Junior FIRST LEGO League India), FLL (FIRST LEGO League India), FTC (FIRST Tech Challenge India) and IRO (India Robot Olympiad). It has tie up with world’s leading organization like WRO (World Robot Olympiad) and FIRST, an US based NGO by India Stem Foundation.
Techtronics Education is working to augment classroom teaching with innovative CS-STEM based learning solutions. Inspired by the Learning by Doing pedagogy, we offer scalable, structured and affordable hands-on technology based solutions to bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and their real world application.
JK Montessorie has contributed in mission for taking students of J and K also to International level Robotic Competitions.
RoboGenius workshop was also conducted to analyze level understanding of concepts among the students from different grades from streams like Mathematics, Science, Computer and English.
The robotic workshop will further help the students to adapt to innovative learning opportunities that will expose all our students to robotics and strengthen their understanding in core subjects like Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. At the end of workshop the students were able to design and construct Robots by Lego Mindstrom kits by themselves and teachers were also empowered with new innovative teaching skills by learning by doing.
Vikas Sharma, National Head, Techtronics Education, Gurgaon along with Henry Don, State J and K State Partner, Yield Educational Services were present for organising RoboGenius™ workshop. Rajni Gupta, Director, JKMS concluded the workshop by thanking the Techtronic Education for such an International programme and blessed the kids for their interest, energy and initiatives.
