JAMMU: As the State of Jammu and Kashmir prepares for the Assembly elections, the android phone users in Jammu region can now avail the latest election news updates on their mobile devices.
“Technology plays a vital role in present era, applications like these are very important as they keep the public at large updated with the happenings around the world on their smart phones and tablets,” said Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Shantmanu, while launching the App here on Monday.
‘Jammu Links’ mobile application launched by a Jammu-based company will provide updates on technology, sports, entrance exams, movies in the city and exciting deals besides updating the android users with latest news.
“This App will keep people in touch with all the latest happenings of the State, country and the world as well. The app is equipped to give updates regarding technology, sports, entrance exams, movie timings in the city, exciting deals and lots more,” Gaurav Sharma, Director, In Links Communications said.
He said that the users can also surf for all kinds of recipes, horoscope and elections related news with the app, adding that one can SMS JLN to 56060 to download the application.
